Privacy Policy
This version: v1 · [last updated: DD Month 2026]
This notice explains how Assembly Clothing ([registered name / sole trader name], "we", "us") handles personal data collected through this website. We are the data controller. You can contact us at [privacy@assemblyclo.com].
What we collect
If you sign up for launch updates, we collect:
- your email address;
- a record of your consent — the date and time, the wording you agreed to, and the page you signed up from;
- your IP address and browser user-agent at the time of signup, kept solely as evidence of consent.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your email only to send you occasional updates about the Assembly Clothing launch. Our lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), and we rely on it for electronic marketing under PECR. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to erase them, and in any case no longer than [e.g. 24 months] after the launch, after which we delete them.
Who we share it with
Your data is stored on Cloudflare, which processes it on our behalf as our data processor under its data-processing terms. We do not sell your data or share it for others' marketing. Cloudflare operates globally; any transfers are covered by its safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [privacy@assemblyclo.com]. You can unsubscribe from any email we send using the link it contains.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
